A woman in Gurugram fatally stabbed her live-in partner following an escalating dispute primarily centered on his visits to his wife and children. Harish, 42, a resident of Balyawas, Gurugram, and Yashmeet Kaur, 27, from Ashok Vihar, Delhi, had been cohabitating in DLF Phase-3 for a year. Arguments frequently erupted between them due to Harish’s existing marriage and family, with disagreements intensifying whenever he spent time with his wife and children. On Saturday, a quarrel led to Kaur stabbing Harish, who was subsequently rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. A few hours prior to the incident, Harish had returned from work in Faridabad, collected Rs 7 lakh from his nephew Bharat, and departed in a car also occupied by another individual, Vijay. Around 10 pm, Harish contacted Bharat to request food and payment. The next morning, Kaur informed Bharat of Harish’s death, stating that he had sustained a knife wound to the chest. Kaur has been apprehended, and the knife has been seized by the police. Authorities are currently questioning Vijay and investigating the circumstances surrounding Harish’s withdrawal of Rs 7 lakh on the night of the event.
