Southern India continues to experience heavy rainfall, with Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu bearing the brunt of the downpour. While the monsoon has covered the entire nation, Delhi remains largely dry, with only occasional showers failing to provide significant relief. Residents of Delhi face rising humidity and stagnant skies. Coastal Karnataka, Yanam, Telangana, and Lakshadweep are also expected to experience showers, thunderstorms, and lightning. Widespread waterlogging and flooding have prompted advisories across multiple regions. Alerts are in effect for Madhya Pradesh (July 21–23), Odisha and Chhattisgarh (July 22–24), Bihar (July 20–22), and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim (until July 21). The weather forecast predicts continued extreme conditions. Citizens should anticipate travel disruptions. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura until July 22. Isolated heavy rainfall is also forecast for Rajasthan (July 19, 2025), Uttarakhand (July 20 and 21), West Uttar Pradesh (until July 22), East Uttar Pradesh (July 21), Jammu & Kashmir (July 20 to 23), and Punjab and Haryana (July 20 to 22).
