Passengers reported the sighting of the rat to crew members, prompting immediate action. The flight, originally scheduled to depart for Delhi at 2:55 am, was delayed as a result.
All passengers were subsequently evacuated while a thorough search of the aircraft was conducted to locate the rodent. The flight, initially planned to arrive in Delhi at 4:10 pm, ultimately landed at 7:16 pm due to the unforeseen circumstances.
