A Dubai-bound IndiGo flight that departed from Surat experienced a technical malfunction on Thursday, necessitating a diversion to Ahmedabad. The flight, which took off from Surat at approximately 9:30 am, landed safely at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport around 11:00 am. Passengers were accommodated on a replacement flight organized by IndiGo. The landing was not classified as an emergency. In a separate incident, an Alliance Air flight scheduled to fly from Hyderabad, Telangana, to Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, was cancelled on August 24th due to recurring technical problems with the aircraft. The aircraft initially returned for engineering checks, was cleared, but then developed another issue, leading to the cancellation of the flight to prevent further disruptions.
