Investigation Launched as Double-Decker Bus Blaze Claims Nine Lives on Route to Mahoba

Authorities have opened a formal inquiry after a fatal fire broke out on a double-decker tourist bus traveling from Noida to Mahoba via the Yamuna Expressway. The vehicle, loaded with more than thirty passengers and a heavy amount of luggage, burst into flames near the Jewar Airport stretch. Nine passengers, all seated on the upper deck, perished due to intense heat. Emergency crews shattered the bus windows to extract survivors, while the fire consumed the entire bus. Traffic on the highway was temporarily halted as investigators collect evidence and identify the victims.
