The incident of vandalism inside a tomb in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, by Hindu organizations is escalating. Samajwadi Party MP from Fatehpur, Naresh Chandra Uttam Patel, has written to Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of instigating the controversy. He stated the tomb is a nationally protected heritage site. The issue also caused an uproar in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Tuesday, with Samajwadi Party MLAs raising the matter.
