Jagatape Criticises RSS Initiative and Banki Pur By‑Election Outcome

Addressing the media, Jagatape took a hard line on the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s proposed "Gen Z" dialogue, saying that both the government and the Sangh have repeatedly failed to understand youth aspirations. He argued that a genuine, on‑ground conversation could have averted the current disconnect, and that social‑media interactions alone cannot win young voters’ trust. Jagatape also condemned the recent Banki Pur assembly by‑election results, urging the BJP to accept moral responsibility and consider resignation of its president if the party cannot retain its seat. He described the outcome as an early sign of a reversed political tide.
