Regarding the conflict with Pakistan, Jaishankar asserted that the issue is rooted in terrorism, with Pakistan providing support to terrorists. He issued a stern warning, stating that India will pursue terrorists, including those in Pakistan, if they attack India. Jaishankar also addressed China’s role in the Indo-Pacific, emphasizing the need for clear stances on terrorism. He discussed India-US relations, highlighting the strengthening of ties across administrations. On the Ukraine conflict, Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s non-aligned position and called for direct negotiations. He underscored India’s role as a voice for the Global South and advocated for UN Security Council reforms.
