The 14th Kirtan Samaroh organized by Shri Shyam Seva Mandal in Parsabad concluded with immense devotion and enthusiasm. The event commenced with traditional prayers performed by hosts Roshan Chawla and his wife Anu Chawla. Thousands of devotees from Jhumri Tilaiya and Parsabad participated, filling the atmosphere with spirituality. The successful and well-organized gathering also saw the presence of former MLA Janaki Prasad Yadav of Barkatha.
Local and external artists led devotional singing in Baba Shyam’s court. Following the kirtan, a meeting was held to plan future events. The Mandal announced that this year’s annual festival will be celebrated with great grandeur. Mandal President Joshi Kumar informed that the next kirtan is scheduled for December 28th, with the main annual festival set for January 19th and 20th. A significant highlight will be the appearance of renowned bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal on January 20th, a prospect eagerly anticipated by devotees.
The primary festival events will take place on January 20th at the Block Maidan. The day before, January 19th, a grand procession will commence from Addi Bangla, proceeding through Station Road, Jhanda Chowk, Purnima Talkies, Maharana Pratap Chowk, and Service Road to reach the Block Maidan. The Shyam Seva Mandal urges all devotees to attend in large numbers and contribute to the success of this significant celebration.
