In a brazen display of criminal activity, a businessman was robbed of 30 lakh rupees in broad daylight in Bistupur, Jamshedpur. The incident, which occurred near a Gurudwara, involved a group of criminals who intercepted the businessman, identified as Saket Agarwal, as he was on his way to deposit the money in a bank. The perpetrators, who were on motorcycles and in an Innova, reportedly brandished weapons and forcibly took the bag containing the cash. To create further chaos, they also fired shots in the air before fleeing the scene. This incident follows a jewelry shop robbery in Sonari earlier in the week, raising concerns about the escalating crime rate in the city. Police officials, including the City SP Kumar Shivashish and DSP Manoj Thakur, arrived at the scene to investigate. CCTV footage is being reviewed, and a special team has been formed to apprehend the criminals.
