5-Year-Old Girl Raped at Wedding, Attacker Beaten by Locals

A shocking incident has occurred in Ranchi, Jharkhand, where a five-year-old girl was raped. The girl was attending a wedding. A man lured her to a secluded garden under the pretense of giving her mangoes and committed the heinous act.

The crime was discovered when the bloodied girl returned home, crying. Her family immediately understood what had happened and rushed her to a local CSC for initial treatment. Due to the severity of her condition, she was later referred to RIMS hospital in Ranchi.

Enraged locals apprehended the accused, Karmadev Urav, and severely beat him. Police arrived at the scene and rescued the suspect from the crowd. A case has been registered against him under the POSCO Act and other relevant sections based on the family's complaint.
