A meeting of the Jharkhand cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, concluded with the approval of 66 proposals. Several significant decisions related to law and order, culture, and administrative reforms were made during the meeting. The expenditure for the 16th Finance Commission meetings was approved. The Jharkhand State Road Safety Rules-2025 was also approved. Additionally, the proposal to form music, drama, literature, and fine arts academies in Jharkhand received a green light. The Jharkhand Child Education Rights Amendment was approved, and an ex-post facto approval of 20 crore was granted from the Jharkhand Contingency Fund. Furthermore, the formation of the Jharkhand State Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission-2025 was approved to address issues related to displacement and resettlement.
