75 cases, drone‑delivered weapons: the rise and fall of Sujeet Sinha

Born in Palamu district, Sujeet Sinha was listed in more than 75 criminal cases, ranging from murder and arson to organized crime and illegal extortion. He first gained notoriety after a double murder in 2007 that involved the killing of Bhuushan Singh and Anil Singh over a tender dispute. Convicted in 2019, he received a life sentence, yet his gang continued to operate. Even while incarcerated, Sinha was shifted between prisons more than a dozen times for security reasons, but his influence persisted, prompting a final police showdown that ended his reign.
