Rupam Sonali, who hails from Khunti district, has been honored by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for securing the 268th rank in her first attempt at the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) combined competitive examination. At just 22 years old, Sonali’s achievement has made her a source of inspiration, particularly for rural and tribal girls. A delegation from ABVP Khunti visited Sonali’s residence, offering her a shawl, a bouquet, and a letter of felicitation. The organization lauded her hard work, struggle, and determination, recognizing her success as a positive step towards social change. During the felicitation, Sonali shared her journey, highlighting how she overcame limited resources, family challenges, and social difficulties to achieve her goal. She emphasized the importance of perseverance and the role of support from parents, teachers, and the community. She encouraged young girls to pursue education and urged society to support their endeavors. The event was attended by various ABVP members, including district convenor Pawan Kumar and others.
