BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu as the Executive President of the Jharkhand Pradesh BJP. Sahu replaces Ravindra Kumar Rai in this role. This organizational change within the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jharkhand sees Aditya Sahu appointed to the position of Executive President, effective immediately. He replaces Ravindra Rai, who was appointed as Executive President during the assembly elections. A letter to this effect was issued by National Secretary Arun Singh on Friday.
Aditya Sahu was in charge of the Kolhan division during the Jharkhand assembly elections. In 2022, he was nominated to the Rajya Sabha from Jharkhand by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh and subsequently elected unopposed. Prior to this new responsibility, he served as the General Secretary of the Jharkhand Pradesh BJP. Currently, Dr. Ravindra Kumar Roy, the former MP from Koderma, was serving as the Jharkhand BJP’s Executive President, a position he assumed just before the 2024 assembly elections.
