Following a brutal assault on traffic police personnel on June 9th at the Kathal Mod Chowk in Ranchi, Jharkhand, the Ranchi police have apprehended two suspects who were on the run. The accused, Hans Yadav, also known as Putti, and Munna Yadav, also known as Akhilesh Yadav, were paraded in handcuffs at the very spot where they had attacked the officers. The incident occurred when traffic constables were managing traffic and instructed an auto-rickshaw driver to remove his vehicle, which was causing a traffic jam. This led to an altercation where the driver, along with others, attacked the police officers with sticks and stones, resulting in injuries to a Home Guard personnel, Rohit Ganjhu. The police, after a thorough investigation and utilizing technical surveillance and video evidence, arrested the suspects and sent a clear message that such acts of violence against law enforcement will not be tolerated.
