In Dhanbad, Jharkhand, BJP State President Babulal Marandi stated that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stood against the Congress party’s appeasement policies. He was addressing a seminar organized by the Dhanbad Metropolitan District BJP to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Mukherjee. The BJP in Jharkhand celebrated the occasion across all 27 organizational districts, highlighting Mukherjee’s personality and achievements. Marandi emphasized Mukherjee’s role in advocating for national unity and his opposition to Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which he believed was implemented due to Pandit Nehru’s stubbornness. He also noted Dr. Mukherjee’s contribution to the nation’s development as a former Union Minister of Industry, citing the Sindri fertilizer factory as an example of his vision. In Ranchi, State Organization General Secretary of Jharkhand BJP, Karmveer Singh, paid tribute to Dr. Mukherjee, highlighting his role in opposing the ‘two constitutions, two flags, and two leaders’ policy in Jammu and Kashmir.
