The 15-day residential training camp organized by the Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Jharkhand province, concluded with a grand closing ceremony at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa, Ranchi. Addressing the ceremony, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Karyavahika Chitra Tai Joshi emphasized that Bharat Mata is the life force of the nation, fulfilling all physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs. She urged dedicating every moment and action to Bharat Mata. Remembering Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar on her 300th birth anniversary, Joshi highlighted her exemplary service, righteousness, and just rule, including her contributions to renovating sacred sites. She also paid tribute to Rani Durgavati’s sacrifice for the motherland, portraying her as an enduring symbol of courage and patriotism. The chief guest, Retd. Director General of Police Nirmal Kaur, praised the discipline, energy, and service spirit of the Sevikas, stating that such camps produce dutiful, virtuous, and patriotic citizens. The event saw over 2000 attendees from various sectors, including educational institutions, social organizations, intellectuals, women’s groups, and the general public. The camp saw participation from 225 Sevikas from 20 districts of Jharkhand, focusing on discipline, physical fitness, patriotism, and cultural values. Activities included yoga, exercises, intellectual discussions, songs, and service projects. The training provided comprehensive physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual development for the Sevikas. The camp was guided by senior workers like Sunita Haldekar, Chitra Tai Joshi, and Nita Ba, with the continuous support of Kshetra Sampark Pramukh Padma Devi. Discussions and practices on patriotism, civic duty, social harmony, use of indigenous products, and environmental conservation were central to the camp. Manu Shri served as the chief instructor. A parade of the Sevikas in full uniform was held on June 6th, which was welcomed by the public. The event included the presence of key figures from the Rashtra Sevika Samiti and other organizations.
