A devastating road accident near Jamtoli, in the Kolebira police station area on the border of Gumla and Simdega, Jharkhand, claimed the lives of three friends. The trio was returning from a birthday party when their motorcycle was struck by a speeding truck. Two friends died at the scene, and the third succumbed to injuries during treatment. Police identified the deceased as Monu Tete, Suraj Baghwar, and Amrit Baghwar. According to locals, the friends were returning from Tapkara Dam in Gumla district where they had celebrated the birthday. After the party, they were on their way home when the truck collided with their motorcycle on NH 143. The impact was so severe that Suraj Baghwar and Amrit Baghwar died instantly. Monu Tete, critically injured, was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. The police have launched a search for the truck driver.
