A strong retort has been issued by BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu in response to Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s controversial ‘ox’ statement. Sahu emphasized that the individual referred to as an ‘ox’ by the Chief Minister is no ordinary person, but a public representative elected by millions and a prominent leader within the tribal community. He highlighted that the ox is an emblem of villages, the poor, and farmers, playing a crucial role in sustaining countless lives. However, Sahu criticized those who, after benefiting from the ox’s labor, forget its importance and resort to insulting remarks out of arrogance. The BJP MP asserted that the masses, representing the villages, the poor, and farmers, stand united with this ‘ox.’ He declared that this ‘ox’ is now angered and fueled by public indignation, and the populace is standing in solidarity. The former Chief Minister, whom the CM is disrespecting with the ‘ox’ label, has a long-standing connection with and affection from the people. Sahu issued a stern warning, stating that the public will undoubtedly seek retribution for this insult and that the Hemant government must prepare to face the consequences, likening it to the forceful blow of an ox’s horns. He concluded by mentioning that the public is fed up with corruption, deceit, and plunder, citing severe deficiencies in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Allegations of widespread illegal mining of sand, stone, and minerals were also raised, alongside concerns about disillusioned youth, unsafe conditions for women, and even a lack of safety for girls within educational institutions. Sahu concluded that the public is now determined to rectify the state’s dire situation.
