BSF’s Meru training centre graduates 140 personnel

The Border Security Force celebrated the successful graduation of 140 commandos from its Meru training centre in Hazaribagh on Saturday. The passing-out ceremony featured a solemn oath-taking under the tricolour, after the recruits completed a comprehensive 44-week regimen that combined physical conditioning, weapons proficiency, and legal modules. Participants hailed from multiple Indian states, bringing diverse regional representation to the force. The event was punctuated by the resonant strains of the BSF band and cultural showcases that highlighted the spirit of service. Chief Instructor Dheerendra Sambhaji Kute praised the trainees’ dedication and announced that they will be assigned to critical border sectors, including Naxal-prone regions and the sensitive frontiers of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir.
