In a shocking incident in Jharkhand’s Gumla district, a businessman was brutally murdered with a sword and iron rods by three individuals. The Gumla police swiftly arrested the three accused within 24 hours of the crime. The victim, identified as Vinod Agarwal, was attacked in broad daylight on Sisai Road. The arrested individuals include Anchal Bium Tirkey alias Chikku and his two accomplices, Juliman Minj and Sameer Toppo. Police recovered the murder weapons, including the iron rod and sword, along with a motorcycle. The investigation revealed a pre-existing feud as the motive. According to the police, the suspects had been planning the murder for some time due to an old grudge. The main accused, Chikku, confessed that Agarwal used to taunt him and his family, calling them ‘thieves’. This led to the conspiracy, culminating in the brutal killing on July 6th while Agarwal was returning from a nearby shop.
