In a swift operation, police in Gumla, Jharkhand, have arrested three individuals implicated in the murder of businessman Vinod Agrawal. The killing, which occurred due to an old feud, saw the arrests made within 24 hours of the incident. The suspects, identified as Anchal Bium Tirkey alias Chiku, Julian Minj alias Julie, and Sameer Toppo, all residents of Gumla, were apprehended by the authorities. Recovered from the suspects were the weapons used in the crime, including iron rods and a sword. Investigations revealed that the victim, Vinod Agrawal, was initially reported to have died in a road accident. However, further investigation, including the examination of CCTV footage, confirmed the murder. Chiku and Julie had previously been involved in criminal activities and were out on bail. The investigation continues to uncover the full details of the motive, which stems from an alleged dispute during Christmas involving Chiku’s brother and accusations of theft. The murder was planned as an act of revenge by Chiku after previous altercations with Agrawal.
