Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, visited the residence of Ramdas Soren in Ghodabandha, Jamshedpur, on Friday to participate in the ‘Sanskar Bhoj’ (memorial feast) held in his honor. Soren, a former Minister of School Education and Literacy, was remembered during the event. The Chief Minister paid his respects by offering flowers at a photograph of the late Ramdas Soren and conveyed his deep sympathies to the bereaved family. He prayed for the departed soul’s peace and for the strength of the grieving relatives to bear their loss. Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren met with Surajmani Soren, the wife of Ramdas Soren, along with their son Somesh Chandra Soren and other family members, offering them solace and support.
Additionally, the Chief Minister addressed media representatives, stating that they had gathered at Ramdas Soren’s residence. He noted that Ramdas Soren’s sudden demise came shortly after the passing of Guruji, emphasizing the irreplaceable nature of these losses. Soren mentioned that numerous well-wishers and relatives of Ramdas Soren from across the state had come to pay their respects. He offered his own respects to Ramdas Soren.
