Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife Kalpana Soren, arrived in Baharagora, East Singhbhum district, on Saturday while returning to Ranchi from Kolkata, where they received a grand welcome.
Upon the Chief Minister’s arrival, the district administration accorded him a guard of honor. Local villagers greeted him with dhol-nagadas and traditional folk dances. A large number of villagers were present amidst the echoes of traditional songs and music in a festive atmosphere.
During this time, public representatives and officers also warmly welcomed the Chief Minister. Security arrangements were stringent at the venue, and the administration appeared vigilant to make the entire event successful.
