Child Fatalities in Kurdega After Missing Play Trip Ends in Fatal Accident

Residents of Kurdega, a village in Simdega district, Jharkhand, are grieving after a routine play excursion turned deadly for two brothers, aged eight and ten. The boys stepped out of their home claiming they wanted to play outside. Hours later, when they had not returned, family members began a search that led them to a well on the property. Their clothes and sandals were found scattered near the well opening. A subsequent search of the water uncovered the lifeless bodies, confirming the boys had drowned. Police have taken the remains to a hospital for autopsy and are examining safety measures around the well.
