The legal woes of female inspector Meera Singh, known for her frequent controversies, have intensified. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has implicated former in-charge of Tupuudana OP, Inspector Meera Singh, by filing a Prosecution Complaint (PC) in case number ECIR 8/2025. The court has not yet taken cognizance of the ED’s PC. The ED had conducted raids against Inspector Meera Singh last year in March. During the raids, ₹12.50 lakh in cash was recovered from the accused’s premises. The ED has taken over the case registered by the ACB. Meera Singh is the first police officer to be made an accused by the ED in any case. However, Meera Singh is currently out on bail in the ACB’s trap case.
