Fake Passports Seized as Bunty Khan’s Dubai Flight Thwarted

Intelligence reports had flagged Bunty Khan’s attempt to board a flight from Kolkata to Dubai using counterfeit identification. On the day of the intended travel, Dhanbad police, with assistance from local forces, moved in and detained him.

The arrest yielded a cache of travel papers: a genuine passport alongside several forged ones, and a visa that would have enabled his departure. The operation prevented the gang member from escaping Indian jurisdiction.

The suspect is already implicated in multiple violent crimes, ranging from homicide to organized extortion. The police are now processing the evidence to strengthen the case against the broader criminal syndicate.
