A tragic road accident late Saturday night on the Chaibasa-Tata main route in West Singhbhum district has claimed the life of a scooter rider. The incident occurred near the Kuju River bridge when a high-speed truck collided head-on with an oncoming scooter. The impact was so severe that the scooter rider died instantly at the scene. The truck driver fled the area with the vehicle following the collision.
