A former minister’s personal bodyguard in Jharkhand fired shots inside a bar after a disagreement over playing a Bhojpuri song. The incident caused chaos within the bar. The bar owner informed local police about the event. The shooting took place at the Gravity lounge and bar on Ratu Road. Fortunately, no one was injured, averting a potentially serious accident.
The bodyguard opened fire with a licensed pistol following the argument. Upon receiving the information, the administration was alarmed. The bar manager filed a complaint against the accused bodyguard, Rahul Singh, at the Kotwali police station. The police arrested Rahul Singh, a resident of PhD Colony, Hinu, in the Doranda police station area of Ranchi. The licensed pistol and 21 cartridges were also confiscated.
