Preparations for the Ghatshila Assembly by-election 2025 are underway in East Singhbhum, with the first randomization of micro-observers successfully conducted on Thursday. The event took place at the District Collectorate auditorium, attended by General Observer Rakhi Biswas and District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi. Officials announced that the Ghatshila Assembly constituency, scheduled for voting on November 11th, will feature a total of 300 polling stations. In line with Election Commission directives, 36 micro-observers have been selected through randomization to monitor 30 chosen polling locations, including six additional observers. The final allocation of micro-observers to their specific polling booths will occur on November 9th. The District Election Officer emphasized the critical role micro-observers play in ensuring a fair, transparent, and peaceful election process, urging officials to adhere strictly to all Election Commission guidelines for a seamless operation.
