Giridih police have successfully reunited 313 individuals with their stolen or lost mobile phones through the ‘Your Mobile, Your Hand’ initiative. A special event was held at the New Police Line, where distressed users finally received their Android and smartphones back. The program, spearheaded by SP Dr. Vimal Kumar, saw owners from across the district arrive to claim their devices. The return of these valuable communication tools brought immense joy and relief to the recipients, who expressed their gratitude to the SP. Dr. Kumar emphasized the critical role mobile phones play in modern life and acknowledged the significant disruption caused by their loss or theft. He assured the public that Giridih police are committed to their ongoing efforts to trace and recover lost and stolen devices for their rightful owners. Several police officials, including DSP Neeraj Singh, Kosar Ali, and SDPO Jitwahan, Sumit Prasad, Dhananjay Ram, Inspector Mantu Kumar, and Muffasil Police Station in-charge Shyam Kishore Mahto, were present to support the initiative.
