Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Central General Secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya described the demise of JMM’s founder, mentor, and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren as an irreparable loss, comparing it to the collapse of the Himalayas.
Bhattacharya stated that although Guruji is no longer physically with us, his ideology and teachings will always live on as a strong source of inspiration for all of us.
He said that Guruji’s life was an example of continuous struggle. He always fought against the current for social justice and was never defeated. His struggle made tribals, original inhabitants, Dalits, exploited people, laborers, farmers, and women aware and stand up for their rights.
Bhattacharya said that Guruji showed the path of education against ignorance, struggle against exploitation, and a life of dignity.
