Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Central General Secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya described the passing of JMM’s founder, patron, and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren as an irreparable loss, likening it to the collapse of the Himalayas.
Bhattacharya stated that although Guruji is no longer physically with us, his ideology and teachings will always live on as a strong source of inspiration for all of us.
He said that Guruji’s life was an example of continuous struggle. He always fought against the tide for social justice and never surrendered. His struggle awakened tribals, indigenous people, Dalits, the exploited, laborers, farmers, and women, who then stood up for their rights.
Bhattacharya said that Guruji showed the path of education against ignorance, struggle against exploitation, and a life of dignity.
