In Ranchi, Jharkhand, a minor girl was kidnapped in broad daylight on July 30th. The incident sent shockwaves across the region, prompting an immediate police investigation. After a two-hour search, the police successfully recovered the child. The perpetrator, along with a minor accomplice, were apprehended. Investigations revealed that the girl was kidnapped by a neighbor for ransom. The kidnapping was masterminded by a gym trainer and painting teacher, who was in debt. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 10 lakh rupees. The girl was on her way to school in an e-rickshaw when the kidnappers rammed their car into the rickshaw and abducted her. The police alerted neighboring districts and the girl was recovered within two hours of the abduction. The kidnappers fled the scene, leaving the girl in Ramgarh district, 50 kilometers from Ranchi. Six suspects were arrested within six hours of the incident, and the police seized the car used in the crime, a pistol, a country-made pistol, ammunition, and cash.
