One‑Click Access to Doctors and Medicines Planned for Jharkhand’s Public Hospitals

Jharkhand’s health ministry announced that every district head hospital will soon feature a digital information board.

These boards will instantly show the names of on‑duty physicians, the list of medicines available, bed occupancy rates, and the range of services offered. The goal is to eliminate the need for patients and relatives to approach multiple counters for basic queries, thereby saving time and reducing crowding.

Officials said the digital transition aligns with the broader national agenda of creating a more accountable and responsive public health system.
