Following a period of pleasant weather due to May’s rainfall, Delhi and several other states are now experiencing a heatwave in June. The temperature in the capital reached 45 degrees Celsius on Monday, with intense heat felt throughout the day. The NCR region endured scorching conditions due to clear skies and strong sunlight. The heatwave is expected to continue, with a high of 44 degrees Celsius and a low of 29 degrees Celsius anticipated. Dust-laden winds and potential heat waves are predicted, with relief expected from June 13th as the weather department forecasts rain. Uttar Pradesh is also grappling with high temperatures. The weather department has issued an orange alert for heatwaves in various districts. Rain is expected to return from tomorrow. Bihar anticipates a change in weather, with rainfall expected to commence tomorrow with the arrival of the monsoon, which is expected to reach by June 15th. Jharkhand is also expecting a change in weather with strong winds and rain in several districts. Rajasthan is facing a resurgence of heat, with a high of 47.3 degrees Celsius recorded in Sri Ganganagar. The weather department anticipates dry weather and heatwaves for most parts of Western Rajasthan in the coming week. Light rain is possible in the Kota and Bharatpur divisions on June 15-16. Haryana and Punjab are also likely to experience intense heat this week.
