Uttar Pradesh is also facing elevated temperatures.
The maximum temperature in Delhi today is expected to reach 43 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 27 degrees. Expect dusty winds and heat waves during the day. The weather is expected to change this evening with thunderstorms and light rain late at night. Rain is predicted in Delhi from June 13 to 16, providing significant relief from the heat.
In Uttar Pradesh, there might be light showers in some areas and heat waves in others. The weather department anticipates the monsoon to arrive in UP by June 15, offering hope for relief.
Bihar and Jharkhand are also experiencing varying weather conditions. Bihar saw heavy rain in some districts on Wednesday, while South Bihar continues to swelter. Jharkhand anticipates thunderstorms and strong winds today. Rajasthan is grappling with intense heat, but a change is expected soon. Madhya Pradesh has issued an orange alert for heat waves in several districts.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
