Meteorologically, Meerut is approximately 82 km from Delhi Station, while Mathura is 183 km away. Both districts are under a 48-hour rain alert, with cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms. The maximum temperature is forecast to be 34 degrees Celsius, and the minimum, 25 degrees Celsius.

Reports of missing persons and fatalities are emerging. Significant devastation has also occurred in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall today in 7 districts of Uttarakhand, including Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, and Champawat. Himachal Pradesh may experience relief from the rain starting tomorrow.
