Humidity levels have surged in Ranchi and most districts, causing discomfort among residents. Ranchi recorded the highest humidity on Saturday compared to other cities in the state. The humidity level was at 90% in Ranchi on Saturday, down slightly from 92% on Friday. Jamshedpur saw 86% humidity, Daltonganj 68%, Bokaro 73%, and Chaibasa 80%. The Meteorological Department forecasts light rain accompanied by thunder in various parts of the state until June 18th. A yellow alert has been issued for June 15th to 17th, warning of thunderstorms and lightning in some areas. Heavy rainfall is expected in some southern, western, and central regions on June 17th. Over the past 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 6.2 mm was recorded in Manoharpur, West Singhbhum. The highest maximum temperature during this period was 40 degrees Celsius in Daltonganj, while the lowest minimum temperature was 21.7 degrees Celsius in Namkum, Ranchi. Maximum temperatures on Saturday were 35 degrees Celsius in Ranchi, 36.5 degrees in Jamshedpur, 40.2 degrees in Daltonganj, 38.1 degrees in Bokaro, and 37.4 degrees in Chaibasa.
