The recruitment process for new Home Guards in the district is gaining momentum in Paschim Singhbhum. Following the directives of the District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner cum President, Home Guard Nomination Committee, Chandan Kumar, the physical examination and written examination will be conducted from July 20th to August 2nd, 2025. The examinations will be held at the Zilla School मैदान, Chaibasa (near the railway station) every day from 6 AM. The dates have been fixed block-wise. On July 20th, the exam will be for Tantnagar, on July 21st for Khuntpani, on July 22nd for Noamundi and Jhikpani, on July 23rd for Kumarudungi and Manjhari, on July 24th for Goilkera and Gudri, on July 25th and 26th for Chakradharpur, on July 27th for Bandgaon, on July 28th for Anandpur and Hatgamharia, on July 29th for Jagannathpur and Manjhgaon, on July 30th for Sonua, on July 31st and August 1st for Manoharpur and Sadar Rural Chaibasa, and on August 2nd for Tonto and urban (technical and non-technical) candidates. The district administration has appealed to all male and female candidates to arrive on the scheduled dates with the necessary documents. The administration has also clarified that the selection process will be completely transparent and fair.
