Important decisions taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 22 May 2025 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren:-
★ Approval was given for free distribution of text books and copies to all categories of students enrolled and studying in classes 9 to 10 in minority secondary schools / madrasas / Sanskrit schools including non-government aided finance operated under the state.
★ Approval was given for printing and distribution of Science Magazine for classes 9 to 12 and Competitive Magazine for classes 11 to 12 in government schools of the state.
★ For the integrated development of the state of Jharkhand, approval was given to the proposal for formation of the first Jharkhand State Water Resources Commission for the updated availability, development, its multidimensional use and efficient management of water in the river basins located in the state.
★ Approval was given to convert Shri Rajiv Ranjan Choubey, Lower Division Clerk, Assistant District Supply Officer Office, Bundu, Ranchi and Shri Afzal Hasnain Hakki, Lower Division Clerk, District Supply Officer Office, Ranchi from Service Regional Cadre to Jharkhand Secretariat Clerical Service Cadre and adjust them against the post of Lower Division Clerk currently Junior Secretariat Assistant.
★ Approval was given for the formation of Jharkhand Manpower Procurement (Outsourcing) Manual, 2025.
★ In the light of the provision mentioned in Rule 4(a) of Jharkhand Senior Judicial Service (Recruitment, Appointment and Service Conditions) Rules, 2001 and the recommendation of Jharkhand High Court, approval was given to appoint Shri Vikas to the post of District Judge in Jharkhand Senior Judicial Service by direct recruitment.
★ Approval was given to re-allocate an amount equivalent to the embezzled amount of Rs. 22,07, 722/- in anticipation of the amount embezzled in the scheme of building construction of Community Health Center, Itkhori in Chatra district under the State Plan being recovered and deposited in the treasury by the Deputy Commissioner, Chatra.
★ The report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Integrated Financial Management System in Jharkhand (Report No. 1 of the Government of Jharkhand, year 2025) was approved to be presented on the table of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly in the next session.
★ In the case number-WPS No. 3329/2022, Ram Vilas Singh vs. Jharkhand Government and others filed in the Hon’ble Jharkhand High Court, approval was given to regularize and confirm the service of Ram Vilas Singh, retired peon and to provide the benefit of ACP/MACP due.
★ The State Finance Audit Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ended March 31, 2024 was approved to be presented on the table of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly in the next session.
