Dumri MLA Jairam Mahto is set to provide significant financial aid to women in his constituency. He has announced his intention to offer a monthly pension of one thousand rupees to women who have lost their family’s primary earner and are facing economic hardship. Mahto plans to implement this initiative soon. He stated in an interview that he aims to assist women who have lost their family’s primary earner and are struggling financially. He is considering providing them with a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,000 from his own salary. He emphasized that this would be a historic step for an MLA to provide pensions to women from their salary, and he is currently deliberating on the plan.
Recently, on July 8th, the MLA organized a talent recognition event using 75% of his three-month salary. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar honored the toppers of the Matric and Intermediate examinations from the Dumri assembly constituency. The top students were awarded laptops and tablets, while other students received medals.
