The Jharkhand Model United Nations (JH MUN) 2025, held at Sarla Birla Public School, successfully concluded on October 11-12, 2025, brimming with vibrant energy and innovative ideas. This two-day event served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase their prowess in debate, negotiation, and public speaking. It transformed into a celebration of critical thinking and global awareness.
Simulated committees, formed by the enthusiastic student delegates, actively engaged in deliberations on pressing global issues. They passionately debated, passed resolutions, and put forth thoughtful, groundbreaking solutions. The depth of their discussions highlighted strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a keen understanding of diplomacy, teamwork, and international affairs. This fostered an environment of constructive dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.
The event culminated in an awards ceremony, recognizing the outstanding performances of the delegates across various committees. Accolades such as Verbal Mention 1, Verbal Mention 2, Special Mention, High Commendation, and Best Delegate were presented for committees including the UNGA, UNSC, WTO, Lok Sabha, JLA, AIPPM, and IPL. The International Press Corps (IPC) committee also saw awards for High Commendation 1, 2, and 3, acknowledging their insightful reporting.
Following thorough deliberation and discussion by the executive board, ensuring impartiality and transparency, winners received their awards and mementos. The school expressed profound gratitude to all participants, educators, and organizers for their integral roles in making the event a resounding success. Special appreciation was extended to the school management for providing such a valuable forum that nurtures leadership, critical thinking, and global citizenship among its students.
