In a shocking incident in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga district, a young man first murdered his girlfriend by slitting her throat and then took his own life by hanging. The incident has sent shockwaves through the area. The police from Serengdag police station in Lohardaga district, upon receiving the information, reached the spot and took possession of the bodies of the deceased couple, sending them to the Sadar Hospital.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday during a chariot fair held in Dadu, Serengdag police station area of Lohardaga district. The young man (Jaynath Oraon), a resident of Dundru in the Serengdag police station area, and his minor girlfriend, both from the same village, had gone to the fair. A dispute arose between the couple, escalating to the point where the man killed his girlfriend with a sharp weapon and then hanged himself in the forest.
