In Ranchi, Jharkhand, the body of a man named Lumba Oraon was discovered in the bushes outside his village. The discovery of the body caused a stir in the village. Police were immediately informed and arrived at the scene, taking possession of the body and sending it for post-mortem.
Police have detained some suspects and are investigating the case. Local residents have shared shocking details about the murder of Lumba Oraon. They suggest that the murder was not planned by anyone else, but by his own wife, in collaboration with her lover.
Local residents reported that the deceased, Lumba Oraon’s wife, had become friendly with a contractor who worked with him. This friendship gradually turned into an illicit relationship, but her husband was an obstacle to their love. The woman’s lover initially installed CCTV cameras in Lumba Oraon’s house to surveil him and monitor his every activity. Every action of his was being watched through the cameras.
When Lumba found out about his wife’s illicit relationship, he protested. Arguments ensued between the husband and wife, and the wife separated from Lumba, leaving his house and moving into a rented house nearby.
On Wednesday night, the wife called her husband, Lumba, on the pretext of meeting him. She then made him drink alcohol and, while returning home, along with her lover, they murdered him on the way. After the murder, they dumped the body behind the bushes. This was done to make it appear that he had consumed excessive alcohol, leading to his death after falling into the bushes. After killing her husband, the wife was continuously contacting other members of the family so that no one would suspect her.
On Thursday, upon finding Lumba Oraon’s body, a commotion erupted in the village. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took possession of the deceased’s body, sending it to RIMS Hospital for a post-mortem. The police have detained the wife and two suspects and are investigating the entire matter. The police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
