Jharkhand is marking its 25th Foundation Day today, with cultural programs planned across the state. On this significant occasion, Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi have extended their warm greetings and best wishes to all citizens. The Governor shared on social media platform X, ‘Jharkhand completes 25 glorious years of its establishment today, symbolizing our inspiring progress in various fields. I wish prosperity for all and continuous advancement for the state.’ Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized the day as an opportunity to honor the struggles and sacrifices of the state’s pioneers. He stated, ‘Inspired by the legacy of heroes like Dharti Aba Birsa Munda, Sidhu-Kanhu, and Phoolo-Jhano, our Jharkhand is touching new heights of development, culture, and identity. The ‘Abua Sarkar’ is committed to the dignity of every mother, children’s education, youth employment, and family security.’ Babulal Marandi highlighted Jharkhand’s natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and mineral wealth, calling it a confluence of diverse traditions. He added, ‘The tales of sacrifice and self-respect of tribal heroes on Jharkhand’s land continue to inspire our youth. I pray for Jharkhand’s continuous development, new achievements, and happiness and prosperity for every citizen.’
