Jharkhand is experiencing a significant drop in temperatures as cold westerly winds sweep across the state. The minimum temperature has fallen by approximately four degrees Celsius, leading to a noticeable increase in the biting cold. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions against the prevailing chill. This sudden dip in temperature is attributed to the influence of these strong winds, which are drawing colder air masses into the region. Many areas are now reporting significantly lower night-time and early morning temperatures, making conditions feel much harsher than usual. The Met department has indicated that this trend might persist for a few more days, urging people to stay warm and avoid prolonged exposure to the cold.
