The Jharkhand Congress has dispatched a team to Purnia, Bihar, to investigate the horrific incident where five tribal individuals were burned alive. This decision follows the brutal killing of the tribal family, allegedly due to accusations of witchcraft. The team, led by Bandhu Tirkey, will conduct a thorough investigation and submit a report. Before departing for Purnia, Tirkey expressed his shock and condemnation of the incident on social media, calling it a stain on humanity and an assault on the tribal community’s safety and dignity. He urged the Bihar government to bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent future occurrences.
