A shocking incident has emerged from the Gutwa Jokari area of Ghaghra police station in Gumla district, Jharkhand. A man, visiting his in-laws, demanded ₹200 from his sister-in-law to buy chicken. When she refused, the intoxicated man fatally attacked her. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. The accused fled the scene after the murder.
The incident took place in Gutwa Jokari village. The man, identified as Tejwa Lohra, had gone to his in-laws’ house. Under the influence of alcohol, he expressed a desire to eat chicken. He then requested ₹200 from his sister-in-law, Salma Lohrain, the wife of his brother-in-law Samad Lohra. She refused, stating she didn’t have the money but would provide it when her husband returned from the market.
Enraged by the refusal, Tejwa Lohra took a sharp-edged weapon and attacked Salma Lohrain, resulting in her immediate death. After committing the murder, the accused fled the scene. The victim’s husband, Samad Lohra, discovered his wife’s body upon returning home. Police have taken the body for post-mortem and launched a search for the accused.
